Citation XL
Purchase Price
$5,000,000 to $9,000,000
The XL offers ample space for a comfortable flight including the ability to stand up. The 6′ cabin with a sunken floor offers added comfort to those longer trips. The aircraft has 8 seats set up in “Club” formation. One of the better features of the aircraft is the fully private washroom, which includes a mirror and a sink. Cruise speed is about 500mph and generally flies around 40,000ft. This is a benefit as it allows for greater comfort to fly above the weather. Depending on the year there have been small upgrades to the aircraft.
Range is about 1200-1300 nautical miles. This works out to around 2300km. Saskatoon to Los Angeles is about the max-distance. Headwinds, tailwinds, cargo and number of passengers all can affect the range of the Citation XL.
